We do not indulge in turkey and tinsel pre-Christmas breaks for a variety of reasons, but the main one is that we don’t know where the Christmas decorations belong until they are discovered on the 1st December.
However, we have a memorable four night special Christmas programme for £410 per person. This is celebration in the grand style, as if you are at your own private house party.
Christmas Day spent as it should be, indulging and pampering yourself, including a late morning walk to the Bandstand to listen to the band. Boxing Day panto at the Devonshire Park Theatre in the afternoon – your tickets have already been purchased – and before that, again walk to the Bandstand before lunch and listen and dance to the jazz band, as well as watch the local swimming club have a dip. That doesn’t last long, I can tell you. 27th December - an afternoon coach tour, and on other occasions a special Harry Christmas quiz, with a yes-no interlude (remember that?) and a Mr and Mrs competition.
